Ohlone for Kids and Teens offers academic and special interest enrichment classes for students in grades 3-11. Students can engage in hands-on learning activities including Arts/Performing Arts, Language Arts, English, Math, Reading, LEGO Robotics, Electronics, Science, Social Studies, and SAT/College Preparation.

League of Volunteers is offering FREE summer recreation for Newark residents ages 5-12.

The program runs June 17-27 and July 8 – August 1, 2019 (closed the week of the July 4), on Monday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Join author and artist Susan Chan for Chinese Expressionist Painting.

Learn various Chinese painting techniques using traditional Chinese ink, water
and watercolor on rice paper with emphasis on splash ink and traditional brush
techniques. This course aims to promote individual creativity and artistic
confidence by harmonizing the traditional Splash Ink (PoMo) with the spontaneity
of abstract expressionism.
